"Access to Monthly Networking Meetings"

MMCM members gain access to member only meetings held throughout the state every month. These interactive meetings begin with a networking session and are followed by a formal presentation, which includes important legislative updates, upcoming community events and guest speakers. These networking meetings are the best way for caregivers and patients to keep abreast of Maine's fast moving medical marijuana program.

Industrial Hemp Hemp Indoor Growing Trial

To all interested parties,
Enclosed is an application for a license to grow hemp indoors. Copies of the hemp licensing law (7 MRS Chapter 406-A § 2231), Chapter 12, Chapter 115 and Departmental rules (Chapter 274) concerning growing industrial hemp in Maine can be found on our website www.maine.gov/dacf/php/hemp.
Although Chapter 274 does not allow indoor growing of industrial hemp, the new law established as Chapter 115 allows for indoor growing of hemp and this application is part of an initial trial period for licensing indoor grows.
During this initial trial period only 10 licenses will be issued.
Ten applicants will be randomly selected from the entire pool of complete applications received by July 31, 2019.
Please read the application carefully, be sure to complete all sections and include any additional required information (growing area maps, indoor grow dimensions, copies of seed certification etc.) before returning the application with the $100.00 non-refundable fee.

Sincerely,
Gary Fish
