As a member of the MMCM you will be supporting advocacy on behalf of, and in support of, caregivers and patients in Maine.

MMCM membership is necessary to maintain the budget necessary to track and respond to proposed law and rule changes, by having effective presence in the State House, maintain our office, and provide continued informational support for patients and caregivers.

Member Discounts

A host of business-to-business discounts on products and services are available to our members. You will also receive a discount on special MMCM events. Currently, we are in the process of updating our new law books. Please call the office for more information.

Lobbyist

Each legislative session, MMCM provides enhanced lobbying efforts to represent caregivers and patients in the legislature. The legislative committee team will write beneficial legislation and testify before key committees. This important work helps protect the integrity of Maine's Medical Cannabis Program and keeps Maine's laws the best in the country.

Networking Meetings

MMCM members gain access to member only meetings held throughout the state monthly. These interactive meetings begin with a networking session and are followed by a formal presentation, which includes important legislative updates, upcoming community events and guest speakers. These network meetings are the best way for caregivers and patients to keep abreast of Maine's fast moving Medical Cannabis Program.

Legislative Update

MMCM members receive regular electronic legislative updates and important notices about upcoming meetings and legislative hearings. These updates keep members alert to laws that may damage the Medical Cannabis Program. These updates are also discussed at the monthly networking meetings.

Office staff available to answer questions

MMCM uses membership dues to operate and staff an office in Winthrop. Members may call for answers to basic questions or guidance to resources available concerning Maine's Medical Cannabis Program. Drop in visits are also welcomed, but we recommend calling first to confirm that a staff member will be there when you arrive.

As a member you will have access to a variety of insurance services  including Accident, Cancer, and Workers Comp.
